Casseblank Records Announces Showcase Gig

Casseblank Records are not just content producing amazing limited-edition tapes by super talented acts, which is why they’re taking over the Mothers’ Ruin, Bristol on 28th July for an extra special showcase with some of their stellar acts.

The enigmatic Creys is set to kick off the show, with his own brand of twisted electronic soundscapes and soaring waves of colossal riffs. You’ll want to get yourself down early to witness this man versus machine sound-clash. The rough ‘n’ ready wares of Abstract Typography are next on the bill, the brainchild of Stan Bull; if it’s scuzzy, fuzz-laden garage rock you love, then you’re in for a treat, be sure to catch the four-piece’s set, as these boys are going places.

Oxford noisemakers Worry are also on the bill; visceral and uncompromising, they will be dishing up some brutality on the eclectic roster of acts. Finally, topping the bill is dance-music polymath Gavin Leesam; the London transplant will be capping the night off with a set of laidback synth grooves, scattered beats and hypnotic visuals, adding a touch of euphoria and blissed out vibes to the headlining slot of Casseblank’s band showcase.

There will be limited edition tapes on sale and Casseblank DJs will be on hand to keep the party going between acts – so ring Saturday 28th July on your kitchen calendar and get yourself down to the Mothers’ Ruin for a night of four diverse but oh-so brilliant acts.
