Game Studio CDPR Bring Virtual Band SAMURAI Into Reality

In anticipation of the release of their new game Cyberpunk 2077 CD Project Red have teamed up with Swedish punk act Refused to deliver a taste of the in-game chrome rock band SAMURAI. With Refused recreating the fantasy hit Chippin’ In to accompany, or more appropriately augment, the game world.

Although SAMURAI will be considered classic rock in 2077. As in 2008 the band split. With lead singer Johnny Silverhand going on to reprise his role of living life as Keanu Reeves. Music is, ironically, timeless.

This isn’t the first time that CDPR have enlisted the help of bands to help expand their game world. The original Witcher game now also comes with an album of songs devoted to The Witcher stories.
