Soundscape’s Inverse Advent 13: Ruindom – In The Eye Of Death

So today I unwrapped my CD and opened it up to look inside like I always do…only to find the band has a myspace link in the inlay. HOW OLD IS THIS? 😂 (Actually I checked and the release is from 2013, so maybe the band were just clinging to the past for a little longer than most, but still!)

Day 13: Ruindom – In The Eye Of Death
I can be quite picky with my death metal at times, but this isn’t half bad and I think this CD will be going into the ‘keep’ pile. The music has a nice energy to it, the vocals are pretty strong and I can definitely bang my head along to this.

Additionally, there’s a decent amount of variety to the music. There’s peaks and valleys – aka melody and aggression – and In The Eye Of Death flows very nicely as a result. Not bad, not bad at all.
