June 22nd
Skin from Skunk Anansie is already a force to witness live, doubled up with Shirley Manson from Garbage it’s going to be an fiery show from two icons. Two unique individuals. Two compelling voices.
Blackbird Festival
June 27
A new festival set at the Castle featuring Alterbridge, Kindred, Florence Black and Cardinal Black.
Bowling For Soup with Frank Turner
July 2nd
Last time BFS visited they filled the arena – a career high for them in little ol’ Wales. Joined up with Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls will see all the punks out in force (oddly clashing with the one and only Pitbull in the next field).
Biffy Clyro
July 30
I don’t think we’ve ever seen Biffy put on a bad show. Always energetic and impassioned live, Biffy are back following their successful tour of latest album Futique.
Sex Pistols feat. Frank Carter
August 1st
Celebrating 50 years of punk Sex Pistols took a risk bringing on the boisterous Frank Carter, and boy was it worth the risk. Having caught them last year, Frank and their charisma onstage just fits. Old and new collide for good.
Jimmy Eat World
August 15
To celebrate 25 years of album Bleed. American Jimmy Eat World play the Castle with guests Rise Against and The Get Up Kids. Another band who undoubtable always bring the energy.
