Picks Of The Month: October 2017

Nat’s Picks

Nachtblut – Apostasie
Track to check out: Geboren um zu leben
Our review: https://www.soundscapemagazine.com/nachtblut-apostasie-review/

Colour me impressed. With a slightly new direction, Nachtblut are bigger and better than ever!

Hallatar – No Stars Upon The Bridge
Track to check out: Dreams Burn Down
Our review: https://www.soundscapemagazine.com/hallatar-no-stars-upon-bridge-review/

Crushingly heavy yet emotively beautiful. A release that will give you goosebumps.

Glittertind – Himmelfall
Track to check out: Finst ikkje meir
Our review: https://www.soundscapemagazine.com/glittertind-himmelfall-review/

It’s always a pleasure to hear new music from Glittertind and Himmelfall is another strong bit of work from them.

Daves’ Picks

Metalite – Heroes in Time
Track to check out: Over And Done
Our Review: https://www.soundscapemagazine.com/metalite-heroes-time-review/

This album is the Scooter vs Nightwish mash-up YouTube is too scared to monetize. Metalite are a new band from Sweden who really need to issue a hair brush with this hook laden hair metal.

Enslaved – E
Track to check out: Sacred Horse
Our review: https://www.soundscapemagazine.com/enslaved-e-review/

My favourite heritage album of the year. It’s such a tense album; it’s fucking spot on.

Nachtblut – Apostasie
Track to check out: Der Tod ist meine Nutte
Our review: https://www.soundscapemagazine.com/nachtblut-apostasie-review/

Nat told me I had to hear this album, AND NOW I HAVE THE T-SHIRT \m/
