LEVELS – This Will Make You Feel Again Review

Release date: 10th April 2026

Prior to the release of their brand new album This Will Make You Feel Again, LEVELS have completely flown under my radar, so I went in entirely cold listening to it – but needless to say, it certainly made me eager to dive into their previous releases because This Will Make You Feel Again is absolutely jaw-dropping.

LEVELS have this awesome blend of aggression and melody to their sound, with This Will Make You Feel Again making you want to both bang your head and sing along to it at the top of your lungs. The clean vocals are super crisp and memorable, the harsh vocals have a wonderful aggressive bite to them, and when paired with the meaty instrumentation and soaring synth melodies, it truly makes for a winning combination.

An definite favourite for me is their song Black Dove, which was also released as a single prior to the album dropping, and it’s clear why. It’s a true standout song, and I particularly love the half-spoken, half-growled interjections of the words “black dove” that hit right before the band launches a powerful wall of noise at you! Additionally, the chorus is very strong; its simplicity really works well with everything else going on, and will swiftly be stuck in your head before you even know what’s hit you!

However, it has to be said that there isn’t really a bad song on This Will Make You Feel Again – for me personally, there wasn’t a single song I wanted to skip past on my first listen of it. It’s just a very accessible album, with plenty to sink your teeth into, and I for one am very keen to see how these songs translate in a live environment.

LEVELS have nailed it with This Will Make You Feel Again. Already eager to see where their journey takes them next.
