Singled Out: Feral – While Flowers Die

Following from 2014’s For Those Who Live In Darkness, an ode to the dark crafts and black arts, Forever Resonating In Blood is an exploration of will and its complimenting energies with sanguine apropos.

A single from the album was released earlier this year called While Flowers Die and promises a lo-fi but high-octane approach to the genre, breaching the wall that black metal has erected to imprison its own decaying corpse.  Featuring killer riffs that bite like the harshest of winters this song sounds like the noble animal kingdom is at the gates thundering quickly towards humanity’s demise.

The album is closer to the heart of solo artist Feral and the release of the sophomore album is tentatively mid-March 2017 according to my source. With Spring often comes new hope but next year something dark is coming. In the meantime we have this killer track to keep us sated.
