Melodic death metal act Distress Of Ruin from Joensuu, Finland, have just announced their brand new single Solace of the Night!
Described as not representing the “traditional” side of Distress Of Ruin, Solace of the Night features a more melancholy and moderate tempo rather than guitar riffing. The song was inspired by the mystic of night time and the painful places in one’s mind, and as a group who enjoys life outdoors, Distress Of Ruin wanted to deliver tunes paying respect to the deep breath of the woods, the nurturing touch of the night sky and the healing powes of the moon.
The band are also continuing working on new material, with q plan to release another single within this year, before starting work on their debut full-length album.
