Bands Not To Miss At Slam Dunk Festival 2018

With the festival just over a month away we’ve put together a list of bands not to miss at the biggest Slam Dunk line-up ever.

Creeper

Playing on the Jagermeister stage Creeper’s influence has grown rapidly over the past few years. Their ability to play any stage and make it theirs is unmissable. An inspiring young band truly for the old and young to rock out to.

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes

Sure to be competition for any headliner Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes bring their English punk rock to Slam Dunk’s Jagermeister stage. We expect mayhem (and outlandish shirts) just from the band alone.

Astroid Boys

The Welsh band bring their genre-mashing hardcore grime to the festival and are sure to attract some new fans. On tour with Ice-T later in the year these lads have it all to play for. Catch them on the Impericon stage.

Every Time I Die

Headlining the Impericon stage this year is the unstoppable force that is Every Time I Die. If the rest of the day hasn’t knackered you out already an hour with this band will certainly knacker you out for the rest of the week.

Zebrahead

Take the edge off with a bit of Zebrahead and depending on how hydrated you’ve kept yourself let loose. Back for their fifth year these veterans will lead the way for some afternoon fun. They play on the Fireball stage.

Trash Boat

A young band worthy of your attention is the upcoming Trash Boat, homegrown pop punk. Their shows lead with passion and an audience in awe. They play the Signature Brew stage.

Holding Absence

Also on the upcoming list are Holding Absence who are gathering quite the cult lately. Still feeling their feet around the scene this young band are a pleasure to watch grow.

Good Charlotte vs Jimmy Eat World

This clash is too tough to choose. Whilst Good Charlotte bring those dirty beats from your youth (and perhaps drunken club nights out), Jimmy Eat World bring those American rock vibes and old-school mosh fillers. Both are sure to highlights and both, if they clash, are sure to bring some arguments between friends.

The festival takes place over the May bank holiday:
North – 26th May – Leeds City Centre
South – 27th May – Hatfield Park
Midlands – 28th May – Birmingham NEC
