Soundscape’s Advent 2025 Day 20: Vast Slug – Driving Music

This year, I thought I would do something a little different compared to a standard ‘end-of-year list’. There have been plenty of awesome albums, EPs and songs released this year – so for the 24 days of advent, I will be sharing some of my favourite cuts of 2025 along with a short review of each.

Vast Slug – Driving Music

I came across Vast Slug in a live environment in March, which is probably the best way to have discovered them. They’re just great fun, and the music hits hard which is even better! I genuinely had an absolute blast watching them and they were truly appreciative of the support which was also great.

Driving Music as a whole is just a great listen – and the best thing is that if you don’t like one song, there’s still another 29 to enjoy! Plus, the track durations are that short that by the time you’ve read the often hilarious titles, the song is already over! 😉

10/10, would drive to again.
