Soundscape’s Advent 2025 Day 14: Memoremains – Toxic Devotion

This year, I thought I would do something a little different compared to a standard ‘end-of-year list’. There have been plenty of awesome albums, EPs and songs released this year – so for the 24 days of advent, I will be sharing some of my favourite cuts of 2025 along with a short review of each.

Memoremains – Toxic Devotion

Memoremains is just a really fun band. Their music and live performances have great vibes, and they’re just easy to listen to.

Admittedly Toxic Devotion does feel a little on the short side, weighing in with only seven tracks and a 21 minute duration, but all of the songs hit hard and I’m certainly keen to see them translated into a live environment. Breakdown is the perfect opener that kicks the album off with a bang and Stuck is my personal favourite – it’s one of those songs that just gets stuck in your head and leaves you humming along to it for ages after you’ve finished listening!
