Soundscape’s Advent 2025 Day 12: Cyberpriest – Cliff The Headhunter (Remixed)

This year, I thought I would do something a little different compared to a standard ‘end-of-year list’. There have been plenty of awesome albums, EPs and songs released this year – so for the 24 days of advent, I will be sharing some of my favourite cuts of 2025 along with a short review of each.

Cyberpriest – Cliff The Headhunter (Remixed)

I do love a good remix album – it’s always cool to see how different artists reimagine songs in their own style (I’m always seeing what Remix Everything is up to, for example). I actually came across this album courtesy of Plythe’s remix, who was an artist I was already familiar with. This album features six remixes along with two original Cyberpriest songs, and the blend of different styles within the same genre really slot nicely together.

I of course really enjoyed the Plythe remix of Cliff The Headhunter (he makes some seriously good shit) and another highlight was the Necro Noise remix of Public Enemy – which I liked that much I had to check out some of his original material as well! Another nice touch I found was the fact the album featured two original Cyberpriest songs too, giving the listener some brand new material as well as the remixes.

Well worth your time to check out – all eight tracks are absolute blinders!!
