This year, I thought I would do something a little different compared to a standard ‘end-of-year list’. There have been plenty of awesome albums, EPs and songs released this year – so for the 24 days of advent, I will be sharing some of my favourite cuts of 2025 along with a short review of each.
Bleed From Within – Zenith
You can always rely on Bleed From Within to release some absolute bangers. This band truly does go from strength to strength, and Zenith is once again another mighty offering from the band. Bleed From Within never misses. A Hope In Hell is my personal highlight, with the perfect blend of melody and aggression, and In Place Of Your Halo has a bagpipe solo that fits in with the song seamlessly, which is super cool.
Like the rest of their back catalogue, Zenith is best witnessed live – we went to their album release tour in mid-October and the energy from both the band and crowd alike was something to behold. Additionally it’s great to see them selling out bigger venues every time I see them! Bleed From Within is going places, and I am very happy to be along for the ride!
