Introducing EYES

Not that 60s British psychedelic band Eyes, not that LA hard rock band Eyes. This Eyes hail from Denmark and their recent release is here to scream in your… eyes.

The hardcore outfit have just released their third album ‘Spinner’.

10 tracks of slick riffs one after another, after another, after another. It’s groovier, it feels angrier, it’s going to have you throwing shapes around the home. Just like previous release ‘Congratulations’ the album has a perfect flow and feels like a merciless descent into the bands hysteria. The album manages to keep their erratic flex whilst also feeling like they’ve taken a step towards growth as a metal band.

Speaking about the album vocalist Victor comments “Spinner tells a loose story through the lens of a fictional early 80’s anime episode and introduces a cast of various characters throughout the 10-songs, all based on situations, states of mind and personality traits of myself. The album is heavily inspired by manga author Asano Inio and his works Goodnight Punpun and Dead Dead Demon’s De De De Destruction. Spinner was written as a way to process traumas throughout youth and early adulthood and leave them behind in a world similar to what I used to escape to.
