The White Buffalo Announces New Single

The White Buffalo

If you watch Sons of Anarchy you will know the songs of The White Buffalo. With 9 tracks already placed in the TV series, including the Emmy nominated Come Join The Murder, the voice of singer Jake Smith will have already embedded itself in your psych. With poignant narratives as dark and deadly as a drug deal gone south, to big, bold anthems of love, Smith can strip a story down into raw emotion.

The first track to be taken from his new album, Love And The Death of Damnation is Smith’s first ever duet, I Got You, featuring vocalist Audra Mae, who said:
I’ve been a fan for years so it’s exciting to be in the same room with Jake, let alone singing alongside him in the studio. I Got You is honest and gorgeous and I’m so grateful to be a part of it. What an honour and such a pleasure.

You can listen to the track here. It is released January 1st 2016 via Earache.

Love and the Death of Damnation is due to be released on CD and vinyl in Europe via Earache Records on February 12th, featuring three exclusive bonus tracks on the CD version and as a bonus 7″ with all vinyl versions.

As well as the 9 songs in Sons of Anarchy, The White Buffalo has had songs placed in Californication, and movies Safe Haven and West of Memphis. He has also just released a 10-part docuseries with leading guitar manufacturer Ernie Ball called “Capturing The White Buffalo: The Recording of an American Songwriter”.
