Soundscape’s Impericon Festival Playlist

Impericon Festival 2017 is slowly creeping up – and for those of you lucky enough to be attending on April 17, we’ve put together a playlist highlighting our picks from the festival to get you in the mood. And for those of you that haven’t made up your mind yet, you can still pick up a ticket from here once you’ve checked out the bands on our list!

Thy Art Is Murder – No Absolution
Impericon 2017 marks Thy Art Is Murder’s first UK show since the return of their vocalist CJ Mahon, so it looks set to be a great show from the Australian extreme metallers. No Absolution is also the first release of the band since his return, so this felt like an apt choice.

Carnifex – Slow Death
We caught Carnifex on the Never Say Die tour last year and they put on a great show. Hopefully there will be more of the same at Impericon Festival too!

Broken Teeth – Show No Mercy
Show No Mercy is taken from Broken Teeth’s asskicking album At Peace Amongst Chaos, which was released about a year ago, and it’s a powerful album to say the least. Here’s hoping their music translates just as well into a live environment.

Brutality Will Prevail – Forever Restless
Forever Restless is from the brand new album from Brutality Will Prevail – and in the words of a comment left on a recent post on BWP’s facebook wall, it makes me want to roundhouse kick a hole through the wall!
