Sian Sanderson and The Charm Offensive – Write Your Wrongs EP Review

Sian Sanderson and The Charm Offensive ‘ Write Your Wrongs’

9/10

‘Write Your Wrongs’ is the debut EP from Sian Sanderson and The Charm Offensive, and if you like your music a bit soulful and bluesey, in the vein of John Mayer, then this is most definitely for you.

You get 3 tracks here. Opener ‘Some Kind Of Fool’, an uptempo number full of cool melodies and Sian’s silky smooth soulful voice.

The quality of the songs really shine here, each track is memorable, catchy and well written.

The Charm Offensive are Steph Bridgman – Drums, Tom Brown – Guitar and Adam White – Bass and complement Sian perfectly.

Second track is ‘No Sweeter Love’, is a slower, crooning number and again contains another star turn from Sian, she has such a tuneful and powerful voice.

Last song here ‘Write Your Wrongs’ is my favourite right now, a great track, full of melody, good lyrics and with a killer chorus, it also has a 16 bar guitar solo!

Sian really is a very talented singer and songwriter and is definitely worthy of your time, so head over to her Soundcloud page where you can download the EP for a small donation or for free.
