Taking inspiration from drummer and composer Steve Schweglers’ military service, Seputus is the resurrection of evil. A life enhancing blend of black and death metal, grindcore and industrial noise, and featuring members of Pyrrhon (Doug Moore and Erik Malave) it may have been a long time in the making but the forthcoming album Man Does Not Give is a promising esprit de corps between the genres.
While originally established in 2005 and gone by 2009 with the revivification of Seputus happened around 2013. The new album (official debut) salvages the most harsh and intense parts of extreme metal into a mighty warhorse that will leave you wondering why your frontal lobe just imploded, and we at Soundscape Magazine are happy to give you a taster of things to come.
