On September 23 this year, to mark the 20th anniversary of what ended up being Nirvana’s final studio album, In Utero, a remastered edition of the album is going to be reissued with original b-sides, never-before-heard demos and the complete Live And Loud concert from December 13 1993, which means that it will feature over 70 recordings.
It is going to be released in numerous formats via Universal Music Enterprises, ranging from a 3CD/1DVD super deluxe edition to a standard digital/CD remaster of the original album.
Material exclusive to the various versions of this 20th anniversary reissue will include a treasure trove of never-before-heard demos, b-sides, compilation tracks and live material featuring the final touring lineup of Kurt Kobain, Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl and Pat Smear. Although some of the editions will feature the inclusion of the Live And Loud show from Seattle’s Pier 48, a standalone single-disc DVD of the complete show with several never-before-released bonus performances will also be released on the same date.
