Natives – Indoor War Review

Natives - Indoor War

Natives debut album sounds so positive and upbeat and poppy at first listen, but pop isn’t really the sound they have. With some killer drums and guitars throughout the album demonstrating the bands skill as musicians. The album is filled with huge choruses and awesome instrumentation.

Can’t Say No has a real funky sounding guitar riff complimented by the hypnotising powerful vocals and a huge chorus that you’ll belt along with. The drums dominate the track which are complimented by guitar riffs galore.

This Island is a really upbeat, bop along song. It consists of a very punk like drum beat, a huge chorus and an awesome drop into the chorus that will get you on your feet.

Big Plans shows off the impressive vocals of the band with very inspiring lyrics. It has a huge chorus and pre chorus that will make you sing and dance along to. The guitar and drums in the song are also impressive with some complex sounding riffs and pounding powerful drums.

Overall the album is filled with huge catchy choruses and impressive vocals. Natives are definitely one of the UKs up and coming rock bands. Keep your eyes out for more from these guys.
