Where I live, it can get Hoth-like cold this time of year. There isn’t a beach in sight, and people traded in their shorts for long-coats long ago. What I am really trying to say is this; the sort of heat that Sydney, Australia’s own, Pop-Dance duo known as JDR brings us, with their recent party-packed new anthem titled Only U, makes me jealous of anyone living in the land down-unda!
Formed from the combined creative efforts of Derrick Atwood and Joshua Paltoo, JDR is making some serious waves in the music industry right now. Their current single was released to a very warm welcome from prominent radio stations, not to mention the hype building within their growing community of listeners.
After only a few moments of Only U, any listener can see clearly, just how serious these two are about crafting songs that are pleasing to the listener. This track is packed with a sexy rhythm, some fun vocals, and seriously smooth production value. It respectfully finds itself alongside the likes of Calvin Harris, Major Lazer, The Chainsmokers, and The Weeknd.
All in all, you just know this is going to be spun in clubs worldwide, and it’s going to set that club on fire.

Studying at the esteemed JMC Academy, and working overtime on their own, Derrick Atwood and Joshua Paltoo have been working overtime to hone their songwriting craft, and it shines all over this fun track.
