So Download Festival is just over 2 weeks away and we know it’s always so hard to pick who you go to see. There’s always so many news bands to check out along side some of your favourites at Download Festival and we figure if we give you a bit of a preview of each and let them introduce themselves to you, it may make your planning easier.
Hailing from Leeds, Fizzy Blood are four friends who decided to make music together just this year. So we expect bigs things from a band who are already playing Download Festival. Here they are below:
Who are you and what do you do?
Paul: I’m Paul and I play guitar in Fizzy Blood
Benji: I’m Benji and I play guitar and sing
Dan: I’m Dan, I play bass
Jake: Sound, I’m Jake
How did you get started?
Benji: We wanted to shy away from the real world as long as possible
What stage and day are you playing at Download Festival?
Paul: We’re playing the Jagermeister Stage at 4pm on Sunday.
What’s the best thing about playing Download Festival?
Benji: Playing Download Festival
Who are you most looking forward to seeing play at Download?
Paul: Seeing Press To Meco open the Zippo encore stage on Saturday will be a treat, great band, great guys.
Dan: Yeah, Royal Blood, oh and Dillinger Escape plan because that’s just going to be insane
Benji: Crazytown
Have you got any surprises in store for you Download set?
Paul: The fact that we got offered a slot at Download is a surprise in itself
What’s your best festival memory either personally attending as a fan or in the band? And what’s your advice to all the festival goers?
Benji: Ummm riding on the shoulders of the dude from Fucked Up at Leeds.
Paul: Don’t be a dick is my advice
