Death Design is a fairly new band, having formed at the start of this year, but their new single Drown With Me is a tight and powerful piece that sees the band give a performance like they’ve been together for years, rather than months.
Drown With Me is a punchy track merging death metal with a little bit of groove and melodic metal for good measure, and what works well is how relentless the three-piece is with their performance. The vocals are something to behold, with vocalist Janne giving a well-supported meaty delivery from start to finish, and the wall of sound underneath the vocals, courtesy of guitarist Mikael and drummer Ville, is tremendous. There’s a great thick tone to it all and it’s just an all-round tight performance from them.
This is only the start of this band’s musical career, and they’re already showing a lot of potential. Make sure you keep an eye out for this band!
