This week’s featured band is the marvellous German band Orden Ogan, who play power metal with folk and prog elements to their music. Founded in 1996 as Tanzende Aingewaide, in 1997 they changed their name to Orden Ogan which means The Order Of Fear in English and have been known as such ever since.

In 2008 they released their critically-acclaimed debut album Vale and proving that they’re not a band to rest on their laurels, 2009 saw the band collaborate with Majk Moti (of the most infamous pirate band out there – Running Wild) to release a video for their song We Are Pirates, taken from their at-the-time upcoming album Easton Hope. It can be viewed in all its glory below.

More recently, the band released their album To The End and in 2014 will travel to the United States for their first ever show there, at ProgPower USA VX.
