Soundscape’s A-Z Of Bands: F·O·E·S

FOES

This week, our featured band is F·O·E·S, a relatively new band that have already been making waves in the music industry despite having only formed last year, in 2013.

Consisting of four wonderfully bearded gentlemen, the band draws influences from Oceansize and Karnivool, and formed in January 2013, with the band being an amalgamation of two previous bands that the members were a part of.

The band’s debut EP Ophir followed about a year later, at the start of 2014, and we described it as accessible enough to slot into a few different genres with ease and unique enough to stand out from the crowd. It’s a very well-rounded first offering and shows a fantastic togetherness, almost like the band has been together for years rather than months.

F·O·E·S are currently working on a music video for a brand new song, and if it’s anything like the songs from Ophir then you should be very excited – 2015 could well be the year where F·O·E·S become a household name.
