Altered Sky – In This World

Scottish 5 piece Altered Sky play a hard edged style of pop/punk, with lots of harmonies, melody, crunchy riffs and great songs.
‘In This World’ is the bands debut EP and was released last year, and is 5 tracks in length.
There isn’t a bad track here, opener ‘Say It Again’ is a good bounce-along number, vocalist Ana has a great voice that really drives the material.
First single/video ‘I Know You Know’ is also a cool track, driven along by some great guitar playing and pounding drums and it has a great, memerable chorus.
‘Shining White Star’ is a slow number which really highlights how good the bands vocals are and is a nice little track.
Final track ‘This World’ is a powerful number that really closes the EP in style.
Altered Sky are playing London for the first time today (Friday 23rd November, 100 club, Oxford St) and are definitely a band you should look out for.
